What is your dealer programs about?

We are not a central station or a major alarm company.

We will not be competing against you.

We give our dealers all leads coming through our websites or through our partner Central Stations!

The Smartmonitoring dealer network is here to help the smaller security independent dealer compete against the large corporations and their "mass marketing" strategy by utilizing the Internet to provide a community where alarm dealers and the public can interact. Our group buying power will allow us to get discounts on products and services. As we partner with select companies, dealers will easily be able to offer select services they never thought they would (example: Medical monitoring, GPS monitoring, Credit checks...).

For the public, Our network of Websites will be a (mini) portal on the Internet where they can find help, information, resources and fair prices for security, monitoring and protective services through our network of independent dealers.

For the dealer, this will be an area where you can interact with other alarm dealers and the public by providing answers in the help forums. Provide security services to new customers who find you through our Internet marketing program(s).

What makes you different from all the other dealer programs?

Our total commitment to the dealer and customers. Our goal is to be the main portal for customers looking for security services and alarm dealers looking for these customers. Customers will be able to sign-up online and the account will be directed to a dealer in their area.

How will our network help dealers get new accounts?

Dealers will be listed on no less than 15+ Websites with domain names that are security key words for search engines (Some of our site domains:NationwideMonitoring.com, alarmquotes.com, Monitoring.cc) and keywords that users will type in looking for alarm dealers . We will be expanding to 30+ Web sites by Jan 2004, and looking to have up to 100+ satellite Web sites up in the near future. We are looking to work with major Internet Web sites as we expand.

We may also offer to interested dealers affiliate programs and plan on E-commerce on several of our Websites. Dealers that want to be involved can sell through select Web sites and affiliate programs on the Internet. We will split the profits between our companies and affiliates. We are looking to partner with several regional and national retail outfits. Retailers that sell our products will be looking to their local SmartMonitoring affiliate to provide service and monitoring.

What are the different levels of membership?

Dealers just wishing to use our partner central stations and not offer customers $17.95 monitoring or do not want to be listed on our websites can apply as a client member.

All other dealers coming into our select group of Central Stations are automatically a SmartMonitoring member and will get listings in several of our basic domains at no charge. Customers browsing our sites can easily find dealer members in their area, and contact them via the phone number or e-mail link on our sites. Members will also get access to all special pricing and discounts from our suppliers and partners. Members can also offer several basic business services once we launch these services. All companies must have insurance, be bonded and licensed if necessary along with 3+ years experience in the security and alarm industries.

Regular members with over 100 accounts can apply to become an affiliate (or associate) member. Affiliate members will be listed on additional Web sites offering Business Services, Medical Monitoring, Internet Monitoring, Remote Video, GPS and GPS Tracking services. Affiliates will also get priority on all leads coming into the Central Station through the SmartMonitoring Network. For more than one dealer in an area, leads will be rotated. Affiliates will also be given Web space and a 3rd level domain (yoursite.smartmonitoring.com) on select Websites that will be sponsored in several search engines. Affiliates will also be able to participate in special dealer programs not available to regular members alongside our partners.

What does it cost to join?

There is no cost to join our group as a client or regular member.

Dealers with over 100 accounts can upgrade free into our affiliate dealer program. Dealers becoming an affiliate will get priority on leads coming into our websites. You will also be able to offer enhanced business services along with Medical-Alert and GPS monitoring. Associate dealers also get free domain Web space and special listings on on select premere websites.

What are the benefits?

There are many benefits to joining our network. As we grow, we will be getting group discounts from select distributors on our purchases. We are currently working on discounted insurance, printing and decals for our dealers as well as other important dealer services. See our Dealer Benefits page.

Can I move my accounts out of SmartMonitoring in the future if I should choose to?

Yes, before the first 90 days (trial) after joining. After that time all accounts stay at the CS for one year minimum (except for customer default). For more detailed information, please visit the Dealer guidelines page.

Do you provide protected territories for dealers?

No.

Can any dealer join the SmartMonitoring Dealer Network?

Membership to the SmartMonitoring dealer network is open to alarm dealers who meet the established criteria. All companies must have insurance, be bonded and licensed if necessary along with 3+ years experience in the security and alarm industries.

Can you prevent one SmartMonitoring dealer from taking over another SmartMonitoring dealer's accounts?

No, but all dealers are expected to refrain from this type of disruptive behavior. Violation be addressed by us.

Does SmartMonitoring own and/or service accounts?

No. SmartMonitoring is here for consumers looking for alarm dealer. We do not compete against our dealers. All monitoring, servicing and referrals are directed to the dealer network and to our affiliates.

Does SmartMonitoring buy accounts?

While we do not own accounts outright, we will take over abandoned accounts. These accounts may be offered to our dealer network (at our discretion). Furthermore, we will also make every effort to connect selling dealers with other potential buying dealers within our network

What kind of marketing is available to SmartMonitoring dealers?

SmartMonitoring will soon have a very strong web presence. We have over 50+ security keyword related domains. As we grow, we will be looking into nationwide radio and print advertising.

Do I need to make a commitment regarding how many accounts I must place at SmartMonitoring?

No. There is no minimum commitment, but we expect dealers to move their existing accounts into our partner central stations and actively promote their services on the Internet. Inactive dealers may be removed or another company offered their geographical area
