Innovative next generation integrated CS/Dealer program - A new style of dealer program..

10/06/03: We welcome SecurityPartners in Boca Raton Florida as our new east coast monitoring partner. This partnership between RGS Technologies and SecurityPartners is a win-win for both security dealers and customers using your services. We will be working on our pages for online data changes and subscriber viewing at both of our main sites and mymonitoring.com. We will be running by mid October with everything up by Dec 2003 and our launch on Jan 1 2004

10/10/03: Updated Website. Working on scripts for customer newsletter, help forums, and automated dealer search by zipcode.

There is no charge for joining our security dealer network. Membership is open to all qualified companies and individuals in the security and alarm industries.

At this time, I would like to take a moment to give you a short personalized overview of what we are trying to do.

I have been in the security field almost 20 years. The past 5 years, We have provided tech services for several companies in the Cleveland area.

The last two years we have been working on putting together a successful dealer network using the Internet as the sales medium. I believe that this venture we are putting together will be quite successful. I have looked at "Dealer Networks" around the Internet and find that most are nothing more than a listing on a Web site. Several even charge for this listing. Although this is good for networking between dealers, they do nothing to promote their members to the public. I am looking to change all that.

RGS Technologies and our AlarmTech/SmartMonitoring program is now partnered with SecurityPartners. We are looking to change the way current security dealer programs are run by bringing our dealer programs full circle.

  1. Bring dealers into our innovative dealer program
  2. Link our dealers into SecurityPartners services and save dealers money on their central station monitoring and services.
  3. Offer alarm monitoring from $17.85 (basic monitoring 6 month prepay). Visitors to our sites can find dealers in their area that are partnered with us. Dealers get all leads from our Web sites.
  4. As we grow, we will be offering other services to dealers and customers (medical alert, GPS, background checks, etc...) with all leads going to our dealer base.

 

On launching our dealer program, one major attraction will be our affordable monitoring services provided by local security professionals along with other innovative security services we will be offering shortly. Most of our Websites will be able to sign up customers to our security associates directly. We will also allow the customer sign-up online into the Central Station with the Central Station directing the account to a SmartMonitoring/AlarmTech associate.

To be successful on the Internet, you have to have a presence on the Internet. For potential customers to order your services, they have to find you. If I am looking for alarm monitoring or security services on the Internet, would I see your company? maybe, but if you are not on the first or second page of an Internet search, you will not be found. You have to come up in the first 1-3 pages of a search engine to be found at all.

As part of this venture, RGS Technologies has been registering domain names over the last two years that have security and monitoring keywords (helps with search engine placement). We have also registered abandoned security related domains (already on search engines and security listings). This, together with several hundred listings on free web servers, the cross listing of our security domains and links to our Websites from alarm dealers that join this venture, we should come up fairly high in security related Internet searches within 12 months of our launch.

As of October 2003, we get fairly high listings on security keywords depending on the keyword and search engine. Once we launch our other sites and start submitting to the search engines, we will rank even better in security searches.

We are building large professional security sites that customers can come back to for information or services. Once a visitor enters our site, we hope to make them a customer for one of our dealers by offering affordable alarm monitoring and a variety of innovative security services. On most of our sites, visitors will be able to find a dealer in their immediate area within 2-3 clicks. This will give us a major advantage over most Internet companies that can be confusing to a lot of potential customers.

We will help increase your profits by partnering with companies that offer unique services that most dealers don't offer (GPS, background checks, etc...). Most of these transactions can be completed over the Internet by the customer and companies wanting these services.

We are looking for dealers committed to aggressively market themselves. I will ask all dealers that join us to help promote our network of Web sites and services through the Internet. I will direct interested dealers to free Internet classes that teach marketing strategies.

The Internet is dominated by a handful of large companies, leaving smaller companies to be found on the 50th page of an Internet search... We will teach you how to put mirrors of your Websites on free servers that you find throughout the Internet and how to use keywords and Metatags when submitting your page(s) to search engines. Working together will allow us to get the high listings needed to be successful on the Information Superhighway.

I have spent the last two years refining my ideas on ways to launch a dealer program that will really work for the dealer. With input from our partner Central Stations and dealers coming in and working as a team, I believe we can make this unique venture a success.
